I was still on probation for my first OUI when I got my second. I was also charged with Negligent Operation and Operating in Violation of the hours restriction on my hardship license, two additional criminal charges. Joe clearly knows this practice area. He also knew the judge, the DA and all the players. He got me acquitted of all 3 charges. Incredibly, he then convinced the judge to restore my license as well despite the three year refusal suspension.  I told him he could put my name and cell number anywhere he wants!

There were 3 cops and 3 cruisers. Once hired, Joe immediately submitted motions to preserve all the videos. At trial, he played the cruiser video showing I never raised my arms during the balancing tests completely contradicting the cop’s testimony. He then played the booking video showing my speech was perfectly normal even though the cop had just sworn it was slurred. Because of those videos, the jury found me not guilty. He then presented a motion to the judge to restore my license and she did so immediately thus removing the rest of my three year refusal suspension.

A career Air Force Officer crossed marked lanes 3 times, stumbled upon exiting his truck and could only recite the first few letters of the alphabet. He faced his third offense and mandatory jail. The video showed him unsteady on his feet, slurring his words and unable to spell his mother’s maiden name. I argued the events occurred at 2:30 AM in a steady rain, he had been up for 36 hours straight and his behavior was just as consistent with someone who was sleep deprived as someone under the influence. The jury agreed.

This is the actual email I sent Joe after the cops in my town continued to harass me trying to arrest me at my home even after the case was settled and my default warrant was cancelled. Banging on my door at 12:30 in the morning waking my wife and myself afraid to go to the door for fear of being arrested again wrongfully. The next day I called Joe and told him my worries, and asked what to do. Within 1 hour he had called the police Chiefs in my town, and neighboring town, and informed both that my warrant was cancelled, and then he got the warrant cancellation notice from the court and faxed it to both police departments and to me to keep in my wallet.
